I wish I was blind
To the destruction of morals
To the ignorance of the mind
To the death of inner souls
I wish I was deaf
To the harsh unkind words
To the eerie silence of life
To the ugly spat among friends
Lastly,
I wish I was dumb
And could let bitterness pass by
Let life speak for itself
And let my silent tears die
Let the heaviness of my heart
Lighten with kindess and joy
Wishing for the final peace
